Hello to the beautiful blogging world!
It's been a while since I have posted anything on my page. Real life ate most of my time, in fact, I don't even understand how I was able to squeeze in some "extra" time now because I am currently managing a small call center my husband and I have put up several weeks ago. But honestly, with all the stress myself have been handling, it's good to find a place where I can relax, "type" my thoughts and just be myself (Yes, I am a pretentious Operations Manager whenever it is business hours. I need to be tough, set rules and make decisions because the success of our center will ultimately rely on my skills with handling everything within this place.)
Since I have NOT posted any of the stuff that I used to share here, my list of "to post" articles piled. up. My husband and I visited the US again last December plus a short vacation in Japan last March, this means that I have tried new restaurants that I am so excited to share with all of you.
Also, I am so happy to see that my page visits kept its rhythm even though I am not updating anything. Don't worry, I won't put your efforts into waste, I will definitely post something soon! Haha.
Glad to be here!

Food Post: Wildflour Cafe and Bakery Cronuts
Have you tried the latest food fad yet?
Cronut or croughnut is a hybrid of a donut and croissant. It is usually topped with a flavored icing with a custard filling in the middle. We're lucky enough that Wildflour cafe and bakery decided to adapt this idea from NY. This way, many Filipinos can have a taste of this wonderful treat!

Highlights of my Las Vegas Adventure part 1
Hello everyone! I just noticed that I have not uploaded even a single blog for February. Apologies, I have been very busy the previous month which is why I'll be posting a fairly long blog today. I know this was due for 2 or 3 months now, but better late than never right?

Polymer Clay: Clay Dolls
More than a week ago, I posted an update on my Polymer Clay business HERE.
I thought of blogging about this a few days ago but I was too preoccupied with our wedding anniversary this weekend! Expect a lot of food blog next week and hopefully a make-up entry too. We were supposed to visit Bohol for 4 days but due to more important matters we decided to cancel and waste the airfare for our supposed flight. :(

Polymer Clay: Up to something
![]() |
| Polymer clay doll heads |
I've been running my polymer clay business for 5 years now. I had my ups and lows, gained new friends and learned what "hard-earned" money is all about. During my first year in the business, a lot of people will question me why I charge so much when they "think" that rolling a piece of clay is a breeze and the material itself is pretty much affordable.
On every tv interview I had, I always say that I started with a capital of 1,000 pesos. But that's just a third of the story, the remaining "capital" had been invested ever since the day I was born, my hands. I taught my students that it is not the materials but our skills/talents that our clients are paying for. Polymer clay became vast and popular and more often than not, you will see the same design from different stores but will never look alike because two different set of hands made them - they will never be the same.
Being one of the pioneers on polymer clay here in The Philippines had a few advantages of creating designs that were first seen on my website, like my "little miss" collection. It evolved into different interpretations and today it is one of the most popular polymer clay design.
Last week, I had a message from the owner of Backstage (where I consign my items for those who can't buy online) for an order of a local artist for these clay dolls. I was excited and immediately asked for the pegs to be sent to my e-mail. I was even more surprised that all the clay dolls will be given to more local celebrities, talk about exposure! :)
If you want to know who these people are, stay tuned! :) I have a week's lead time so I probably wont update anytime soon! Haha :) It is a busy week for me!

Falsies or no falsies
I'm not a huge fan of false eye lashes. Unlike others who wear them on a day-to-day basis to make their eyes look dolly, I find myself too lazy and thought that these were just for special occasions. Despite having very thin and short lashes I would settle with just curling my lashes (which ends up straight after sometime)-I'm more of an eyebrow-cheek-lip person. (how I wish I had my husband's lashes!)
Lately though I've been allotting time to put on some mascara, my eyes are naturally drooping at the outer end plus my eyes are quite on the hooded set.

Anjoy's Debut
Random photos from Marian Joy's debut last August 25.
I always plan my look ahead of time but I often end up rushing because of other things that I need to attend to prior to fixing myself up. :(
Disclaimer: Nothing to do with my make up gigs, just thought of posting this here because I need to sort my albums on my FB account soon!
